| - When we first arrived it was Happy Hour, we had hoped to start our meal trying the fresh oysters. It's a first come first served deal, but there was only seating for two left. The hostess was kind enough to get us dining room seating, but only because we had reservations.
The service was excellent, the food was amazing! We did all appetizers and it made for a great trasting for four. The chef and waiter kindly made sure that there were four of each item, so that no one missed out. We did have to ask, and they did add I minimal charge for the extra food, but it was worth it!
The flatbread and the lobster risotto, were good, but the least favorite of the bunch. The other items ordered were the cheese plate, smoked salmon deviled eggs, oysters, ahi tartare, escargot, and the absolute favorites of the night the foie gras, we had the on menu and the off menu. Both were amazing! Best foie gras we have ever had. Beautifully cooked, beautifully presented and the only way to describe the taste and texture is beautiful. We finished the meal off with deserts, pecan coupe, Lemon blueberry sundae, Black forest tart, Grand marnier souffle, salted caramel and chocolate, sorbet and gellato. We were overly stuffed when we left.
Our waiter Romero was so awesome, kind and understanding. He never once seemed put out by our odd requests.
What could have started disappointing, ended in one of three best meals and service we ever had.
