  • So i took my mom to the er because she couldnt swallow anything without it going into her windpipe and causing her to exacerbate. They diagnosed her with strep even though they didnt do the test to confirm that it was strep. I just figured bad day ill take her back cause obviously something got lost in translation when explaining what was going on. This time they listen and admitted my mom over night they ran some test and told her the next morning she would get a gi done to find out what was going on. I called to see how it went, they hadn't done it yet needed to know where she had it done before (even though when it was done before it was for something else and back then she could swallow) so i told them the doctors name and where it was done. Then i ask my mom what they've been doing since shes been here, nothing no ivs no antibiotics nothing. So she hasnt had food or water or her medication in days and they arent even giving her fluids. So i ask they nurse why and she says well she cant swallow. Well fucking duh thats why i brought her to a hospitial where they have meds that can be put in ivs or put a feeding tube in her. She has now been there almost 48 hrs and they havent figured out anything or given my mom anything. They just leave her in a room alone without food water or her medication , thanks banner.
