All I ever need is a simple manicure and I rarely have issues with this request. This was by far the worst manicure I've ever received. I made an appointment when I was visiting the area. The manicurist was cranky from the minute I arrived, but we all have bad days, right? Well, it was downhill from there. She told me I needed to get gels because they "don't guarantee for more than two days" with regular. I said no problem, a chip won't bother me. Then, she began by PAINTING OVER THE CHIPPED (CLEAR) POLISH THAT WAS ON MY NAILS. I was completely confused when she said "but I will also be putting clear on." I told her it was a week old and that I would like her to start fresh. We went back and forth multiple times until she agreed.
Post-manicure the polish was completely bubbled and looked terrible but at that point I was ready to go so I just left. When I went to remove it a couple of days later it would NOT come off with remover! At all! I had to go into a salon just to remove what should have been regular polish. They too were confused.
How could one manicure produce so many failures? I urge you not to find out...
