| - I was here for 3 nights last week. Service here is superb. The valet opened the cab door for me. The doorman held the hotel door. The bellman walked me to the registration desk and brought me bottled water. The registration person checked me in and told me about the perks staying here. No waiting. Although I only had a carryon bag, it was the first time for me at this hotel, so the bellman gave me a quick tour of the casino and escorted me to my room. He made sure all the lights worked and showed me where everything was. The dealers and cocktail servers introduced themselves by name and were friendly and efficient.
Champagne toast for guest at 5p Friday and Saturday nights. Free coffee and tea at hotel elevator lobby.
The room is small and not much natural light gets in. But, there is adequate lighting with the lights turned on. I guess they though access to balcony was not a good idea as entry is bolted with a pin. The view of the Bellagio fountains would have been better if I could step out. The small window in bathroom does open. No tub, but the shower is large. Having a rain head and a hand-held head is nice. The room is new and well designed. Everything you need is there. Slippers, robes, comfy bed, small couch, a wall-mounted 55 inch HD TV, a safe, well stocked frig, snacks, and about 6 full size bottles of your favorite spirits ($30-$50 per bottle). Retro analog dial radio, but interesting no clock. I guess everyone has a cellphone anyway though. The walls are thin as I heard the neighbors TV one night. I was on the 7th floor and did not hear or feel the music from the club in bed.
Speaking of club, hotel guest get free pass and more importantly priority guest line access to club. Instead of waiting in the long, long, long line Friday night, I walked right in.
Like the club, the pool is located on the roof. It is adult only and hotel guest get free pass and access to priority guest line. For those with kids or want a more relaxing time at the pool, hotel guest just need to show room key for access to pools at Caesar's Palace or the Flamingo.
Only restaurant in hotel is by celebrity chef, Giada. No problem though as Caesar's is right across the street. I went over there for the Bachannal Buffet and some quick bites at the Food Court (Earls of Sandwich, Smashburger).
I didn't use the gym, but the bellman told me that it was exclusively for hotel guest and with the hotel having just over 100 rooms, I could have it to myself.
OK, evening maid service Friday night did leave a couple of small bottles labeled hangover helper with bottles of water, but I wouldn't label it as a party hotel. I'm older and more of a gambler than partier. It was fun, staff was super and I would stay again. In fact, I probably would have given it another star if the tables were hotter and the slots looser.
