I've waited a super long time to stay at this hotel. You'll pay a little more to stay here, but the location is a great place to be, IN THE CENTER OF THE STRIP! Paid about $300 for my room and we were in the Palace Towers. Gorgeous room with a long hallway, two queen beds, great view of the pool and huge jet tub with a large shower. PROBLEM: We got home late around 3:00 AM and were looking forward to HOT showers. My two friends took LUKEWARM SHOWERS. They felt bad telling me since I paid for the room. I feel that this is unacceptable since a good amount of money was spent on the room. A guy did come up and service the shower, but it added another 15 to 20 minutes of getting the water hot enough to have another person take a shower. We couldn't shower until like 4:00 AM. Less time to sleep and on the last night of Vegas before a long drive home. Not happy about that. I feel like they should take off my resort fee or something. I did complain, but will see if they honor and value customers.
The pool was PHENOMENAL! I would recommend any person in Vegas to go check out the pools! 32 oz cocktail is $27. Drinks are expensive, but I was on a vacation so I paid the price for the drink. I would recommend a margarita, mojito or some of their other blended drinks. The pina colada was a bit too sweet. Ice tea is about $9.00. You cannot bring food or drinks from outside.
There is a poolside area that allows guests to play in the pool. Looked super cool! I hope that I can stay there in the future with no shower or hot water issues.
