  • I just did a Google search to get the straps on my purse repaired. I called 2 places. This was the 2nd. The first didn't answer their phones, so they lost my business. I was just too busy to do any price comparison and I knew my regular seamstress couldn't sew this due to the thickness of my purse straps. The guy was not friendly, but very curt, just like another person wrote. He wasn't rude, but he really was not friendly nor would smile. But I guess that doesn't matter. I would have given him a 3 star, but I gave a 2 star instead. He gave me a quote of $15 to sew the 2 ends of one strap down and the end of the other strap down. The thing he did wrong was with the 2 ends, he got the strap twisted. It looked like he did this in a rush and wasn't paying attention. I didn't notice it, but my teenage daughter did. For this, I drop a star because of his lack of detail on such a simple thing. He did get me my purse when he said, so he was timely. Paying attention to what you sew where is important. It would be nice to get a smile, but like another reviewer said, he wasn't rude. Guess he has enough business to not worry about good customer service.
