  • Stopped in for breakfast today since I now live close by. Arrived around 9:15am, so after the usual breakfast rush. There were just two servers on for the place. Service was slow to say the least. I had the male server (Joe, I think). He was robotic and without a personality. At least the lady who was working most of the restaurant seemed to have some personality to her. Once I finally got my order taken, the food did arrive quickly and was piping hot.. So it wasn't the kitchen that was slowing things down, it was the server. Corned beef hash was generic and obviously straight out of the can.. The poached eggs were cooked with soft yolks, so I give the cooks credit for knowing how to poach an egg. The potatoes and toast were pretty standard issue stuff. Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing wrong with them. For the food, I would give them a solid 3.. But the service (or lack there of) brought the experience down to a 2. I say Mehhh.. nothing worth coming back for anytime soon.
