  • Another stop on our bar hopping night and Velveteen ended up being our favorite stop. This place is so hip, cool, trendy. The clientele is awesome. Different strokes for different folks but what a cool bunch. All ages too. But no discrimination - like youngsters eyeballing oldies or vice versa. Everyone is accepting and it felt like one big family party. Love genuine, nice people with good karma. The bartenders are mixologists. Awesome drinks. I wanted a Vesper (had asked for one at two bars prior to coming here and no one knew what is was - geez) But these bartenders did and they added their own flare to it. Delish. Super friendly too. Prices are on par I would say. The place had a DJ that night with great music. Funky chairs and couches for great conversation pits. It's shabby, chic, divey if that makes sense? Would totally come back here!
