  • Unbelievable. I have 6 children and have had 5 of them see this pediatrician over the last 7 years. I called to schedule my daughter for immunizations this week and was told that I owe them money, and that they had sent me three notices, which they did not. The receptionist put me on hold to 'check into it', and after a few minutes someone else picked up and said "hello? How can I help you?" So I explained and was again told that I had been sent notices and that I owed money for my deductible. That doesn't make sense, for an office visit, so I asked what had been on the claim, and she put me on hold. I was at work, so after sitting on hold for over 5 minutes I hung up. No one called me back, and I haven't been able to call, having a hectic week at work. Now today I got a letter from the office manager advising me that I can take my children to another office, as they are no longer interested in providing care for my family. $140 bill, which they did not bother to justify or explain, and they are washing their hands! The nurse practitioner and Dr Marcelo are very nice, but the office staff are rude and disorganized. Do yourself a favor, find a different pediatrician.
