  • I am so glad I found this office! I work in the dental field and am extremely picky about who I choose as my dentist or anyone who will be a direct influence on my health and well-being. Upon entering this particular office, I knew I was going to be in good hands. The office is clean, comfortable, and they are up to date with their technology. I didn't have to wait very long to be seen and the staff was very friendly. They made me feel at ease. Dr Velayo is awesome and thorough. She will explain to you things you might not understand. Many other dentists I have been to have been very rough with cleanings, but Dr Velayo was quick and gentle. I had no pain or soreness after my cleaning, which is a first for me! She also checked on me constantly to make sure I was comfortable. After going over my xrays with me, they determined that I needed to get my three remaining wisdom teeth extracted. Amber at the front desk was very accommodating to my requests and needs and was able to get me in with an oral surgeon much sooner than I anticipated. I'm knocking down a star because of the assistant: I believe her name was Laura. She seemed kind of nervous, which is fine, but she did a poor job with my flossing and put so much fluoride on my teeth that when I got home, I started getting a headache from the taste of it in my mouth. I've had fluoride treatments before, but never has anyone gone so heavy handed with it. Overall though, this is an awesome practice and I've already started to refer my friends and coworkers there. Can't wait for my next cleaning!
