  • I first step foot into this store on Sunday and I was surprised at how big it was with all kinds of sales going on. I haven't been to a Sears in years, but a colleague of mine recently purchased a tool box from them that I fell in love with. I went on Sunday to check it out in person. Loved the tool box. Exactly what I needed. I went back Monday to purchase it and I needed help. Stood for 20min or more waiting for someone to come around. It was a total ghost town both days. I didn't see any associates and the few I did see acted like they were busy. I finally grabbed an associate because the one in tools was busy helping another customer and I was pressed for time. Of course the associate called the tool guy to his stand to help me while the other guy walked off. I'm like where is everyone?! I felt bad for the tool guy because he was busy with another customer and he could tell I was irritated. He finally helped me with my purchase and went above and beyond giving me a $20 off coupon for my purchase due to the inconvenience. His name was Charlie and extremely nice even though I was annoyed. If this reaches to management, please reward Charlie in Tools. He was awesome. For the other associates, hire people that actually want to work and don't break everyone at once. That's an idiot move. Apparently that's what happened in my situation. Everyone was on break at the same time. Would I return? Probably not and it looks like the customer service is an issue here. Not just with me. Get people who actually work and staff properly. Not old timers that walk around milking the clock.
