  • Came to Vegas for our 1 year anniversary. Stayed at the flamingo as we always stay here. This will be our last year staying with the flamingo! We booked and paid for our room, only to be charged daily resort and room fees and billed at check out. $320 extra so my question what did I pay for when booking? Next, we booked a non-smoking room, however found someone's cigarettes in our room... Guess they don't clean the rooms like they used to! Our stay was for one week and house keeping only came ONE TIME!!! I feel robbed cheated and left without a happy ending! Pay to get into the pool also!?!?! Guess you get what you pay for, but then again with all the extra fees I paid for a lot nicer of a hotel!! Like to also mention, the room wasn't too bad, the bathroom however was terrible... The exhaust vent was disgusting and full of crud and dirt and dust... We had a soda and ice machine down the hall from us, the ice machine never worked, it was always making ice.. Seriously?? The soda machine wouldn't take dollar bills and out of the 10 elevators, two worked!! 19th floor the push button panel was falling off the wall... I've seen where people got nice upgrades for mentioning it was a birthday... It was our anniversary and we got nothing!
