| - Visited recently on a Friday night - have occasionally used other laundromats over the years, and hadn't been in this one for a good year or two...that said, these are my observations: since my last visit it had undergone some improvements, especially in clear and well-displayed signage answering about every conceivable question. I knew ahead of time you had to load cash onto a card to use the machine and prepared accordingly. Most of the ones I've visited, including one I "researched" prior to returning here, seem to be going this route. It was somewhat more expensive than others I was in, but I came back because the trade-off's were worth it - large and roomy; many more machines available, including good numbers of the biggies - 60/80 pounders - and plenty of dryers to match; almost all in working condition, whereas other places seemed to have a high percentage of their fewer number of machines 'out of order'. The interior isn't new and shiny, but it was clean, with plenty of folding/sorting tables and clothes-carts in good or new condition, and the attendant worked on cleaning while I was there. Speaking of the attendant, the personnel can make-or-break a deal for me, and 'Alfredo' was excellent. Very helpful, polite and friendly. He helped me get a feel for how much laundry and detergent could go in the really big machines and worked with me on a machine issue until it was resolved. It's a fairly busy area, well-lighted and the door locks at 9:30, so I didn't felt unsafe while there on a late Friday night. If it maintains this level of customer-appeal, I will certainly be back without bothering to look into other places first.
