| - I've been to Herbs & Rye twice and, my goodness, this place is gooood! Excellent customer service, well executed food and superior craft cocktails are a few things you have in store when you dine here. Do not judge this place by the outside appearance, cause as soon as you step into the restaurant you feel as if you walked onto the set of a beautifully executed speakeasy scene in a movie. The dim lighting perfectly complements the atmosphere they are going for.
They have happy hour Monday-Friday from 5-8 (a late night happy hour too) where you can get a juicy, savory, perfectly prepared 18oz ribeye for a little more than $30. That's hard to beat for a premium steakhouse. Everything, and I mean everything, I've tried was extremely tasty. I'm not embellishing at all. Their calamari appetizer was one of the best I've ever had (it's a big portion, perfect size for a group of four) and it comes with strips of prosciutto and banana peppers. The Yardbird and risotto is one of my favorite non-steak dishes at this place. The linguini and clams are some of the best I've ever tasted. There are no wrong choices at this place. The only problem I have is getting too full before my entree arrives.
This place is great for celebrating birthdays, which was why we came...The server, Mr. Logan (I can't recall his first name) took excellent care of our party, so I wanted to give him a special shout out. Again, this is easily one of the best restaurants off the strip in Las Vegas. Do yourself a favor and dine at Herbs & Rye
