| - I seem to drink and eat at this bar, when folks from out of town are staying at the Holiday Inn Express Yorkville, where this pub is located. I like this pub, and it has a great staff working most mornings for breakfast, or evenings for dinner.
It's interior is practically unchanged from when the building was built in the early 1990s, and it shows. The seats are showing wear and tear, and so are some of the tables. I was told by the servers that the interior is going to be renovated in June or July 2012, and will solve this problem.
Personally, I can't stand karaoke, so that is not a plus for me. I grin and bear it, while I'm enjoying a few beers and wings, while watching a Leafs hockey game on the TV sets near the bar, furtherest away from the stage and speakers.
Food-wise, they have very good buffalo wings, and buffalo chicken. Wing night is Monday evenings, which is also the only one of two nights that Karaoke is NOT happening (the other is Sunday). Surprisingly, their limited menu of Indian food items is actually quite good, and I highly recommend it, better than many stand-alone Indian cuisine places not far from the Fox.
I rated it three-stars because of its interior and its selection of beer is not as good as some of the other bars I frequent. If the interior is improved over the summer, as they claim it will, I will definitely give them four-stars; five-stars if the beer selection improves.
