I am Vietnamese and moved to LV recently and have been looking for traditional Vietnamese cuisine. This place is good for banh mi sandwiches and rice plates but lacks traditional Vietnamese value in the vermicelli noodle bowls and appetizers. I am disappointed with the quantity of food you get in takeout, I feel like it's far less than other places. The deep fried egg rolls traditionally are rice paper filled with noodles, veggies, and lettuce. This restaurant however, does it the cheap way. They use a different wrap that's not rice paper and fill it with a big piece of meat. It's just a log of sausage. Traditional Vietnamese egg rolls are extremely different and better. I am disappointed that this restaurant and many other pho restaurants in the area don't do real authentic traditional egg rolls.
The pork and shrimp vermicelli was great, the nuoc mum was a little sweeter than what I prefer but was still great. Overall it's an okay restaurant but for someone like me who is Vietnamese and knows tradition....I'll stick to a place that's more authentic.
