The last time I was at Fort York, was when I was in Grade 8 for an overnight school trip here. We spent a day, living and eating as an early settler.
This time, I was here as part of the Old Toronto Beer Tour, visiting the museum and the barracks and officers cabin. We learned a little bit of history about Toronto and how it relates to beer.
The fort wasn't too busy thanks to the weather so it kind of felt that the fort was only opened for us.
I think the time spent here was appropriate (roughly an hour) as more, it would have been boring.
I believe that there's guided tours, if you want through Fort York.
Recommended for a visit to learn about Toronto's history.
