| - BEST BUFFET IN LAS VEGAS, hands down!
When I'm in Sin City, I absolutely refuse to waste stomach space on mediocre. Almost everyone I know who are Vegas regulars recommends Studio B because they say the food is delicious (weekend seafood buffet?!), the price is just right, and the service is up to par. Annnd now I know why.
The food was ON POINT! Variety was out-of-this-world. Most notably amazing was the shrimp cocktail and some of the desserts (namely the gelato and crème brûlée). Food was constantly being restocked by the friendly staff behind the counters. I have always avoided the "Asian" inspired foods because they generally taste Americanized, but I will recommend the ones here (the shrimp pad thai's flavor was completely off though). The soups...oh my, the soups! The meats, too!
I failed to catch our server's name, but he was on his A-game! Even as tables filled up, he managed to bring us all refills many times before our cups were ever empty. Being the tough cookie to please as I am, I wanted a cherry coke; he accommodated my request by mixing coke with grenadine. Unlimited wine and beer at no extra charge, too. Uh, hello! Honestly, this was the best, most top-notch service I've ever received, and I know I won't forget it. It's too bad my parents were nit-picking with my tipping practices, and I'm still feeling suuuper guilty for not leaving my usual 20% because he deserved so much more! So mister server, if you see this, I am incredibly sorry!
Oh, and if you're a sucker for pretty things, you'll gush at the ceiling and elegance of the entire place. It was a lot smaller than I expected, especially after experiencing the buffet at Cesar's, but nothing here disappointed otherwise. Extremely modern decor, well-lit.
At $23.99/adult for Tuesday dinner, it's definitely a steal...and dare I say, completely worth every penny; it actually felt like I was eating more than I paid for.
I wouldn't hesitate to come back for lunch and dinner, so I'll see ya soon!
