  • Have nice clothes that don't fit you but remain neglected in your closet year after year because although you tell yourself "I'll go get them altered someday", you never do because you don't know a good tailor and are afraid alterations will cost more than the clothes did and also have too many other pressing items on your plate, like attempt to rewatch all 202 episodes of the X-Files before the reboot comes out? Me too. Thankfully I discovered this gem of a place tucked away underneath the AURA condos. Jenny does absolutely BEAUTIFUL alterations - she went to school for fashion and it shows in her handiwork. I brought in two lovely skirts, one that was too long and the other too big around the waist. When I swung by a couple days later, I had two perfect skirts that fit me like gloves, or skirts. So painless, so affordable (hemming starts at $9 and there's a $5 off $25 promotion right now), so worth it. Wish I did it earlier. They also do zipper changes, sofa covers, linens, you name it. BONUS: If you get Japanese curry all over yourself while ingurgitating lunch at Kaiju, Aura Cleaners is just a few feet away. Go gather your "someday" clothes, bring them to Jenny and tell her I sent you.
