  • Hubby, baby & I made a stop here during our little road trip to Calgary a few months ago; we had heard of and seen this company on the Food Networks "Donut Showdown" so we had to give it a try! First off, parking is extremely limited when it comes to the area this donut shop is located in, we had to drive around a few times to get a spot. The shop itself is well lit with many windows, and really clean. The person at the till was friendly enough and the amount of donuts that remained were plentiful. We ordered a dozen donuts of a different variety & munched on a few on the 3+ hour drive home to Edmonton. I have to say, as much as I wanted to love the donuts, they didn't compare to the Donut Mill donuts in Red Deer; they hardened fast and by the time we made it home, the majority of them were a bit hard to eat while the Donut Mill donuts always seemed to remain fluffy. Maybe it's the way they are made? Overall, it was okay. Although I don't think I'd be back unless I'm in the area.
