  • If I was paying cash, I would take my business elsewhere. I've stayed here two nights and both times I was given a room with an incessant sound coming from the bathroom, rooms 415 and 315. I sort of sounds like an organ pipe playing a high note. Both times I asked for a different room and was moved. Why do they check people into these rooms if they know about the noise, and they do, at least some of the employees do. Beyond that, when you check in you have to go back out to you car to place a paper on the dashboard so they won't tow you, which is annoying and other HI locations in Charlotte don't require that. The water pressure and flow are feeble and fluctuating. Shower nozzle doesn't spray vigorously. Toilet paper is cheap. There was trash in the hallway both days, first a couple cigarette butts and second night a styrofoam food box. No microwave in room. Second night here the free wifi was not working. The pillows, 4 per bed, are labelled half soft and the other half firm, but they're not very firm, and they're all knife edged. If I stay here again, I'll bring my own pillow. I'm staying here only because it's only 15k rewards points and my condo lease ended a few days before I move out of state.
