i needed some new fences done at my place and called the three most reputable companies i found on yelp to stop by and provide me and estimate. They were all very professional and arrived on time to give me advice. J or J welder was the most expensive by almost double over these guys. Nevada Iron Works came in 2nd but still pricier compared to these guys. So i went with Amazing Iron works after reviewing bids, their websites and previous customers comments.
The mock ups took a while to get from Amazing Iron Works and communication was an issue. Always ask for mockups because what they say during the estimate, at least in my case, can be different in the mockups. Their measurements were off in some areas which i was thankful i had fixed before they started.
In regards to communication, the only one who knew anything about updates was the person who came out to do the estimate. What happens if that person falls ill does the job not continue? Im not sure why they dont have a shareable file about each customers work so that anyone in the office can access it and give the customer an update. That was just one of two pet peeves. The other was when i did get updates he'd call and leave a voicemail stating to call back instead of providing the information in the voicemail. You could be playing phone tag all day. Getting a response via email was either all or nothing. Some days id get 5 emails and quick responses and some days it would take 2- 3 days for a response.
Overall, when we did touch base issues were addressed appropriately. They did an A+ job on the install and even added a few nice touches i didnt expect. Everyone who comes by asks about who did the work and i just send them to Amazing Iron Works.
