  • Check in was a great. Staff was friendly accommodating as we were checking in about 20 min early, then it went down hill. The valet (as Parking for the hotel is a disaster) said that due to the fact we were about 15 -20 min early we would be charged another $20 on top of the normal 40. We decided we would park ourselves for $30 around the corner. I grabbed one of 6 luggage carts, loaded up bags for 4 people as I booked two rooms and headed in. I was met my the valet parking staff member who informed me he couldn't release the cart to me but for a charge they could help me....... I stood in amazement moreover shock at what he said. What a great first impression from the front line staff. I proceeded to grab all the luggage and haul it thru the lobby with no assistance ( not even a cart) p Very disappointed. UPDATE; After a very quick response from the Manager and subsequent emails I feel it's a training issue for the front line staff and was assured it was being dealt with. I will be back in the city soon and will give it a second chance as the rest of my stay was very enjoyable. Update 2.0 Last stay was amazing. They took great care of us and staff was more then helpful. They truly do ensure they are the best in town. Well done and will be my hotel of choice eveytime we are in the city.
