I've eaten at Wolfgang Puck restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The food here was good - up to standard. The service wasn't.
I arrived 3p for a late, leisurely lunch. The bar was occupied by 3 other guests but the remaining spots were dirty - dishes and place mats from previous occupants. I took one of these spots and the bartender (working furiously) assured me he would clean it shortly. I left 90 minutes later and all 3 additional bar diners got the same experience. They sat at dirty seats and waited quite a while for service. Where was the manager???
Once I got to order, the food came quickly and it was delicious. But my experience (leisurely lunch) was punctuated by a bartender constantly on the run, waiting on everyone in the restaurant and working furiously to keep up. Getting his attention was difficult because he was so busy, but he was also extremely polite once caught.
Whomever manages this location was content to let him flounder for an hour and a half this afternoon while patrons paid the price. Not a great experience, especially specially at a chain that prides itself on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
