| - As a "beginner" spinner (yes, a rhyme!), I came to Get Spun after purchasing a 5 pack through Deal Find.
I was immediately intimidated on my first visit, as the instructor seemed to know everyone and I stuck out as I obviously had no clue what I was doing. Fortunately she noticed immediately, came and adjusted my bike, and gave me some wise words "don't try to keep up, it's your first time - try and get through it". Like that made me feel better!
They have cubbies for your stuff and coat rooms in the back, as well as change rooms. Everything was quite clean and well organized, which was a big plus for me - no chance of me getting lost in the studio (ok that might be impossible, it's a big room).
I wasn't a huge fan of the music selection but the class ended up being pretty good - there were about 20 bikes, and every one was full - she's obviously a popular instructor. I just about died of happiness when she brought around a tray of cool damp towels after the class finished - it was such a great surprise as I had definitely worked hard!
The biggest issue I have with this place is the cost of single class passes. They're $20!! I wanted to bring a friend one weekend, but they couldn't commit to a 5 or 10 pack as it was their first time. $20 is absolutely ridiculous for a 45 minute work out - we went uptown to a private golf club instead, and my pass was only $5. For unlimited time.
Please keep in mind that I don't have a lot to compare to when it comes to spin studios - but the customer service was good and they do have quite a few class times on their online schedule, so it seems pretty good to me!
