  • Hi, So I was in the market for a used 2013 Honda CRV, which Avondale Mazda had listed online for $20,000. So Josh Aguiar decided to help me out, in a very rude manner I might add. First round of negotiations were non existent, as Josh immediately stated that the price is what it is, and no negotiation would be allowed. This was after telling me they had a new shipment of cars coming in and they would accept any reasonable offers. After telling him I had read so many negative reviews regarding his dealership, he responded that most of their negative reviews are by competitive dealerships. Haha funny because he then proceeded to give me life advice by telling me not to live my life around yelp reviews, and added on that I insulted his personal integrity. Sorry Josh! But you insulted my intelligence by not even allowing me to negotiate, Josh then proceeds to tell me that I am acting very aggressive towards him! LOL coming from a sleazy high pressure salesman, I almost wet my pants! Long story short I shouldn't have even bothered with these people because the reviews are right, he tried adding on $400 doc fee (beware), $500 tints, and $1000 for a car alarm and anti theft registration. I mentioned that I didn't need any of those things and refused to pay for them. Final offer from them out the door was 23k (24k if I didn't finance thru them), my offer was $22,150 since I was not going to pay for the above items, I just want the car man! Josh then proceeded to tell me to basically fuck off and go haggle elsewhere. What happened to "we have a new shipment coming in, and we will accept any reasonable offer"?. Oh well going to try Lunde's VW in Peoria since they have pretty decent reviews. Wish me luck!
