  • Where do I start? I'll give the one sort of positive, customer service in the store was good. I have to say not impressed with Tourneau at all. We bought a used Breitling Chronomat on Saturday night 9/9/2017. Big investment that I walk out wearing. Hour or so after purchase I look at the time and it's an hour behind. I reset the watch again and also manually wound it. Thought nothing of it and put it back on. Looked at it again 30 minutes later and time again has not moved at all from the 7:01pm I set it to. Sales rep and manager both told us this watch was a display model and that it was never used. They also stated that it was sent back to Breitling to test and confirm everything was working. If all of this correct why do I have a very expensive paper weight. Very upset that I now have to make another trip into the store. Let's see how this turns out tomorrow. I'll update soon. Update Sunday 9/10/2017 - Arrived at store at around 10:50am. They knew who I was so they let me in early. I had the same sales rep as Saturday. She has been pretty helpful. She tells me that she was taking the watch to their repair person and to give them 30 minutes. While walking the mall I receive a call from rep stating, repair man put the watch on his machine and everything is working fine and that they couldn't see any issues with the watch. She told us to come back and that we would speak at the store. When we arrived she stated the same, nothing wrong everything is working fine. I the. Let her know that it's not working fine and that it would stop again. She let me know that she was able to find another NEW display model in a SAFE somewhere and that she has placed an order for it. She said this one is working fine just take it and wear it while I get you the new one. I was ok with that while the watch was working in the store. I thanked rep for her time and left. 10 minutes later watch stopped working again, minute and hour heads would not move. I call rep back pretty upset and let her know that again the watch had stopped. I give her an earful. I paid a significant amount of money for a watch that I can not wear. They have been paid and I now have to wait a week for a replacement and I also have to make a third trip to this place. Not happy at all with Tourneau. Update Monday 9/11/2017 - Received a call from store manager Jason today. He was very apologetic about the situation. He offered shipping the watch so that I didn't have to come down again but I told him it would be even longer before I received the watch. I let him know that I would pick up the watch when it was in. I don't want to wait another 2 or 3 days. Jason understood and let me know that the watch he was bringing down has already been checked before shipment and that they would QC it again when it arrives in store. Jason and Farnaz have been great, if only the people checking the watches were as good at their jobs. I'll give them a 2 star for their efforts. Still don't think I should be having these issues when I've spent so much money. Update Wednesday 9/13/2017 - This morning I sent Farnaz a text message asking about watch new watch that was brought in. She said she had to check with Watch repairman since it's been testing all night long. About 30 minutes after my text, Farnaz calls me and tells me that new watch they brought in was also experiencing time issues. She said that the new watch was falling behind 10-15 minutes even though it had been winding all night. She then apologized and said you can pick another watch or we can refund your money. I thanked her for her time and told her I would think about and ended our call. I went home grabbed the broken watch and headed back out 25 miles to take back watch and get a refund. When I arrived I asked for Jason the store manager and let him know that I wanted to get a refund. I let him know that I had been pretty patient up to that point and I didn't want to wait any longer. Jason have the refund no questions asked. I then asked for pricing on a new Breitling Superocean. He gave me an ok price but I found it 700.00 cheaper on Jomashop. Tourneau is a good place to come look at the watches but that is it. Their watches are 1k-2k more expensive then at other places. The sales reps are very helpful and friendly but their quality and prices are very bad. I will not be returning to any Tourneau location. Back down to 1 star for this store since I had nothing accomplished and I actually lost time and money going back and forth.
