  • I've always been a fan of A Cookie & A Cupcake. My most recent experience is causing them to lose a couple stars. When I called to place an order for 18 cupcakes ($45) the woman on the phone was rather snotty and annoyed with me and my questions. I wanted 3 cupcakes of six flavors and I simply asked what was most popular of their choices. She rambled them off and I asked her to slow down and repeat them and she asked if I'd like to call back when I know what I want to order. Uh, no, I want you to speak to your customer kindly and if you don't have the time to speak to me on the phone then perhaps you should hire someone to do so. I ended up emailing my order in the next day. This time I went with Strawberry, Lemon, Salted Caramel, Grasshopper, Peanut Butter Lovers and Carrot Cake. I heard rave reviews of all of them except for the Salted Caramel. I'm a fat girl that loves cake...but this fat girl hated this cupcake. It was disgustingly salty. I get the whole salty & sweet thing but it wasn't nearly sweet enough to overcome the saltiness. I only had a few bites. I love the Grasshopper and PB Lovers but I'd really advise staying away from the Salted Caramel.
