| - In my late 50's, I have grown wary of most repair shops over the years. On a friend's recommendation, I tried out Marshall's to diagnose and repair an overheating issue with my wife's aging Lexus with 160,000 miles. They were spot on with their diagnosis, and fixed what was needed at a fair price, without trying to up-sell me to do additional repairs not clearly related to why I brought it in. Marshall has a great approach to dealing with customers, willing to get as detailed in explanation as the customer wishes (I did my own car repairs, back when they were far more simple and we all had a timing light in our garage, so had some detailed questions which Marshall answered with clear and concise explanations). He understood the economics at play when spending money to keep a car with that many miles, and relatively low book value, running. The final price came in a bit under what he quoted and the work was done in a timely manner. For those reading the few negative or sketchy reviews, below, look at Marshall's thoughtful reply to those reviews. The fact that he cares what people post on Yelp speaks volumes, and he does the right thing by his customers who have valid complaints; for those who do not, he is nonetheless polite in his rational response to them.
Very happy with Marshall's and will use them again. Highly recommended.
