  • I moved to Mesa five years ago and Genie has been my go to car wash, on a weekly basis, for that entire time. Service was fine up until the last year and a half. I do get fancy car washes, the "works" as they call it at $20-$25 a crack at least every other week in both my cars. I gave up on trying to get them to fix their mistakes a while ago but today was the last straw. I got two $125 details a couple months back and decided to have it done today. Upon picking up my wife's car and inspecting it I found (and was not told ahead of time) 1. the casing from the rear view mirror had been knocked off 2. Water spots ALL over the car 3. Wax buildup from a shoddy buff job visible all over the car 4. Smears from dirty reused rags on windows 5. They used so much cheap armarol on the seats you can barely sit in them and it leaves a greasy residue on your hands 6. They left a partially waxed car sitting in the sun so that unbuffed areas will permanently set in 7. The "manager" Montana Refused to refund the entire cost of the unused detail because it included the wash the day I PREPAID for the detailing despite me being very clear that not refunding that $16 (of the $125 total) would cost them a $50 a week regular. SMART BUSINESS decision there Montana! I'm sure that's the kind of business savvy that allowed you to ascend to the rank of car wash manager. At this point I'd rather get my car washed at a prisoner run Maricopa county jail fundraiser than ever spend another dollar here (although between Matt, Montana, and the tweeker trying to hustle windshield replacement from unsuspecting elderly folks) I'm not sure that this place isn't a work release program as it is. I'm sure the owner hasn't been in a while, but I encourage a management change as Montana and Mats response, to a glaringly substandard job, just cost you a regular customer and about $1000+ a year in revenue. I doubt everyone is letting you know how bad it's gotten Mr. Genie Car Wash but I'll be sure to let as many people as I can know to avoid You business.
