  • I've been meaning to get a Yelp account for a while just to rave about this place. It is owned and operated by the same folks who run the Thai House on Shea. So same fantastic Thai food, which alone earns Narai a 5. However, for those interested in Japanese cuisine, there is also this intriguing sushi element... Let me explain: This is some of the most tasty and reliable sushi in Phoenix. No, this is not Tokyo-grade or LA-grade sushi and it is neither especially authentic, nor overly creative. Still, it has everything one would want in a Japanese American place. The best part is the happy hour, that runs until 7 pm... which basically means that you can have an assortment of appetizers, sushi, rolls, miso soup, beer and hot sake for 2 - for around $30. Yes $30. When in doubt, check it out. And spread the word.
