A huge shout out to the staff at The Van Buren! Not only was the SWITCHFOOT/LIFEHOUSE show amazing, but the staff was more then accommodating! The friend that I attended the show with is confined to a wheelchair & had purchased mezzanine seats for the show! When we arrived to the venue, we realized there was no elevator to get us to our seats (premium $ for these seats). Once we relayed this concern to one of the security staff members, he promptly found a staff member who proceeded to personally take us under her wing, apologize, take us in to the venue before anyone else, and ask my friend where she would like to watch the show?! It was customer service at its best! My friend asked if we could watch just off from center stage, we found our spot, and that's when the staff member then asked Sheila (security) to make sure we were completely comfortable and happy with our AWESOME location to watch the show! Not only did Sheila seek us out during the evening to make sure we were enjoying the show and comfortable, all of the stage security members made sure we were comfortable as well!!! Well done Van Buren!!!
The only request/suggestion I have is to maybe include information about seating restrictions on ticket sites, so persons with disabilities/restrictions are informed before purchasing tickets (my friend tried to seek this info out before purchasing the tickets with no luck).
This is a new venue and will do very well if the level of service from the staff continues! Thank you again for providing us with an amazing experience!
