We came here on Halloween night. A circus, right? Nope. First off, our flight was delayed so we asked to change our reservation time. They were great about it! We arrived at 12:30 and were promptly sent past the massive crowd waiting to get in to the Commonwealth back to The Laundry Room. I would like to disagree with people that say this is like a hipster SF bar. I live in SF and the hipster SF bars have WAY too much attitude. The Laundry Room was great. Upon arrival we were given their special buffalo wing popcorn and the mixologist (sometimes I hate that word, but this guy was really good) asked us what we like, we're whiskey folks so he crafted two amazing bourbon based drinks. Our parting shot was another Scotch based drink, (we're also scotch drinkers) :) The vibe was quiet, the whole place wouldn't seat more than 20 people and it wasn't full. It was a nice quiet break from the downtown mayhem going on outside. There was no rush, service was amazing, and cocktails were delightful. Highly recommend to ANYONE wanting a stellar 'off-strip' experience!
