  • The welcome and orientation experience is wonderful. Starting with the valet - I always give a shout out to the valet team because they really can have influence on your stay by setting the tone. They were helpful and accommodating. Once at the spa, they took the time to show you everything and answer all your questions and not rush you through the orientation process. The steam sauna was one I had never experienced before. The sauna had different chakra color lights and an aromatherapy experience that was out of this world. In the dry heat and dry climate of Scottsdale, Arizona this was a very welcome experience. My massage therapist was Andrea. HELLO, CAN YOU SAY AMAZING?!? I had the therapeutic massage with an add-on. It was an incredible massage and very well done. I highly recommend you request her if you are able. You also can pick your choice of music (that was a first for me) and your choice of body oil. The non-co-ed pool was a mineral pool with beautiful poolside seating and food/beverage service. I enjoyed the cheese plate, red wine and salad. All were delightful for a post-massage light meal. The Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch is by far one of the best hotel experiences out there so please book it if you are able. It is very family friendly, too. You will not be disappointed.
