  • I used to manage a few EWCs in LA and I recently moved out here and decided to give the Moon Valley location a try. Yelp said that Tiana and McKenna were the girls to go to. I've had both but regularly go to McKenna and she is literally the shit. I love her! My brows are always on point, she doesn't even have to ask me what I want, she just tackles them and I am pleased each and every time (mind you I go every 2 weeks for brows and underarms). I hadn't gotten my brazilian done is a while, I have regularly waxed for over three years and had taken a break and wanted my hair to grow out because I shaved inbetween my move because I was lazy (don't do it ladies, let the muff wait until you can go) - she made my experience amazing. It was literally one of the best brazilians I have had and again, I used to work for EWC so I have tried tons of girls. Totally recommend either one if you are in the market for a new girl - they are personable and amazing at their jobs. My only gripe is that they changed their no show policy - it used to be if you no showed, as long as you rescheduled that same day it wouldn't count against you but apparently they changed it in November or something. Now, even if you reschedule same day, it counts against you. I missed my last two appointments due to being sick and I called after and rescheduled it the first time and the girl said not a problem, see you next week and then I slept through my Saturday appointment this last weekend and called and it wasn't until then that the girl advised me that I had two No Shows and after my next I would be on walk in basis. I then inquired about the policy that I have known for three years and it was not until then that she told me that it changed. Trust me, working for EWC, the no show policy is a must because not everyone has the courtesy to call back and just say "Hey, my bad. Let me change to a different day" and I understand that they use a call center and they are busy and sometimes forget to reiterate policies (oversights happen) but considering it is on record that I called within an hour of each appointment, I feel there should have been notification the first time and leniancy because they can check my history and notes from every location I have been to, I have NEVER been a no show type of girl. Aside from that, the Guest Service girls are awesome and it's clear they run a tight ship. I totally recommend it to everyone whenever people asl totally go and get passes, they save you tons of money and they are worth it if you go the way I go.
