| - I'm not sure about this hotel. One thing you know off the bat is that there's no pool, which is fine. There's a free breakfast, which is about the quality you might expect from a free breakfast. There was cereal, milk and juice, and a waffle maker, which I didn't expect. The waffles were really good. Free coffee and fruit at the front desk. Fridge available on request only, but it was freshly cleaned, as I could still faintly smell the bleach. Free wifi.
The bed was comfy, but my main issue is that sheets caused me to break out in a rash all over my legs and face. When I arrived, I didn't have any skin issues, now that I'm back at home, the rash has cleared up. By the second day, I called the front desk and asked, but they have no hypo allergenic sheets. The day after that, I noticed that housekeeping didn't clean up our room, make our bed, and the sheets were not changed, but someone came and took the dirty towels (and didn't bring back a new clean set). When I called the desk to let them know, they didn't sound surprised in the least. He just asked me, what do I need, so I told him we needed towels. I can't remember about the first 2 night I stayed there, but I'm sure the bathtub was not scrubbed the last day, which is a big deal to me because I usually soak at the end of every day when I travel, because I exercise alot.
That brings me to the last problem: The workout room is too small, there are no mat(s). The elliptical machine didn't have a water holder, it had a clip on water holder, which fell down and caused me to knock my water over everything when I started moving at a good pace on the machine. The issue I couldn't get around was that the air was not working, it was set on 61 and the room was boiling by the end of my workout, it had to be about 80 degrees in there. Both myself and another room complained about and asked if a fan could be brought in, but after 2 days, no fan was brought in.
I didn't have any issues there: no complaints on room or noise problems.
One thing that was nice was the beautiful natural light from outside, it was nice waking up to that.
My guess is that they're underfunded - it seems they have a limited number of cleaning staff and resources.
All the staff were really nice, but the amenities need better keep up.
I bidded 78/night on priceline for a three star hotel, but I'd rate this as more like a 2.5 star, mainly for the reasons named.But like everyone else mentioned, all other area hotels are going to be at least 25-50 more expensive.
