There is no place in the world I have experienced that is better for service, knowledge, expertise and overall just enjoyable people than at Oliver Smith. I travel weekly on business and typically like to look at watches when I have free time. From manufacturer specialty boutiques in Beverly Hills to the giant dealers (Tourneau = awful) in Las Vegas, I've been to and have experienced a LOT of jewelers. There just is no comparison to what you will experience at OS.
Paul White is the man. Sometimes we chat for 20 minutes before we even get to the task at hand. Even if you ask him for opinions and input about lines he doesn't carry, he will be straight with you and I swear he knows more than the authorized dealers! There's not enough room here to tell you how great he is at what he does. You will be in good hands in every single way.
Veronica is also an absolute sweetheart, and the french accent helps add to her loveliness. Don't let that fool you - she knows her product inside and out. One day Paul wasn't in and I spent over an hour with her looking at watches. Honest opinions--even if they aren't what you want to hear--is what makes a salesperson great. I asked her if there were alternative straps to the IWC Big Pilot's watch, she said "if you don't like this strap, do not buy a Big Pilot's...it's part of what defines it." Most sales people would immediately say "sure no problem" but not her. I love that!
My only complaint is that I wish they carried every luxury brand out there because I don't want to buy a watch anywhere else!
