This review is for the symphony in the garden on Tuesday nights in the summer. I had used a Groupon on this night and this event is highly recommended even without the Groupon.
The performance was scheduled to start at 7 and they had set up a large tent outside in the garden area of the castle. The tent has plenty of seating although it is recommended to come early as the tent fills up quickly. They also serve food in the garden area of pub type food including lobster poutine, sliders and gelato! All of this compliments the performance as you can enjoy the food while the symphony plays.
The performance itself was great, I'm not a classical music person but the symphony made the performance engaging and enjoyable. You are also free to explore the castle and walk around the premises while the performance is going on. The castle is huge and there is alot to see within including tunnels, a history of the castle and it's former owner as well as a history of the Queen's own rifles. It is advised that you go all the way to the top of the castle as the view of Toronto from up there is amazing.
All in all this event was very memorable.
