We have been twice now, and really enjoy Delmonico. It's the little things in service - for example, my friend was wearing a black skirt, and they took away her napkin. She was confused and asked for a napkin and they said oh, we're grabbing you a black one. Just so that she didn't get white threads on her skirt...
The lobster bisque is AMAZING - best I've had, anywhere EVER. The bread is also crazy delicious! It's these weird puffy rolls that are so flaky and good.
I had filet which is normally excellent. I did have one time where for some reason mine was medium and my friend's was medium rare, though we had ordered opposite. We didn't care much though and just switched our steaks :-) I think they confused the orders in the kitchen.
The service is great - we had Michael Jackson (for real, that was his name) last night and he was super helpful and friendly.
Oh yeah and the bread pudding. OMG...
For the lobster bisque, the bread and bread pudding (plus service) I would give it five starts. The four is because though the steaks are good, I have admittedly had many that are much better. I would still absolutely go back (and really enjoy it) I just can't say it's a "to die for" steak.
