| - My husband and I visited Arizona for the month of February on our year long trip around the US. While in Phoenix, we were looking for some free, wild wild west fun, and found Buffalo Chips! We had so much fun watching the bull riding, talking to locals, and enjoying a bourbon on the rocks. We did not have any of the food here, but it smelled delish!
We came on a Friday night and it was PACKED! We caught the 8pm bull riding show. The seating is free, and they have experienced riders, first timers, kids, and LITTLE kids who ride sheep! It was a hoot! Great energy, an evident love of the USA, and so much fun.
We were there in February, so it got cool at night, but there are tons of heaters and fire pits around, so you won't get too cold! Before we left, we watched some people dancing inside. One of these days we will take lessons! :)
I actually just wrote about our experience here in my blog post about the Food and Fun in Arizona: https://tandaintheusofa.com/2017/03/16/food-and-fun-in-arizona/
