  • I had a 3 a clock appointment for a service that should take 30 min or less maybe an hour on a busy day. I came in for an oil change and tire balance and was quoted 2 hours! And the reason why it took 2 hours you ask? I was literally sitting in the waiting area watching not 1 or 2 but 3 techs standing around! I understand people have certain things they focus on but every tech knows how to do an oil change and balance and if you are just standing there talking then Pep Boys need to figure out a better system.
