Great luxury for the money. It's nicely appointed with lots of hanging out areas. It's great for families or anyone looking for a quiet weekend. I think the planners had a "build it and they will come mentality". Well, people are not coming so you get a great deal and luxury until they do.
It's not Las Vegas in they way you normally would think about Vegas, so don't be disappointed when it's relaxing and laid-back. It's a 20-minute highway drive to the strip. That's a good and bad thing depending on your priorities. You'll be annoyed if your main entertainment is at the strip. But for those of you who want Vegas weather and maybe one excursion to the strip, this place is great.
To the reviewers who complained about quality, I don't agree. Sure the base boards need painted but that's really the only thing I could see.
Tips: stop at the Albersons or Target when you get off the highway for snacks and beer/wine. Ask for a room with Balcony. The Breakfast buffet is great. Take the $10 upgrade per day to add breakfast, if available. Otherwise it is $22. But it's a comprehensive buffet. Rent a car. Vegas is car friendly and this place is too far out to rely on bus/shuttle/taxi.
Staff is very helpful, friendly. Resort fee is annoying but that fee has taken over in LV. Everyone does it.
