| - The first time I walked into this hotel/casino in October 2012, I knew that we had found something special. I was on the search for a wedding venue. Over the course of two days we met the wedding coordinator and catering manager, ate in two of the restaurants, and played in the casino (both slots and table games). When we left, I was excited to return with all my friends and family in May. I loved how well maintained the property was, and very excited that my niece and nephew would be able to go from the lobby to their room and the pool without having to step foot on the casino floor.
Now, after staying at the Tuscany for a week this month and having my wedding there, I am convinced that it is one of the best kept secrets in Las Vegas. I just can't say enough good things about this property or the staff.
I will start with the Wedding Chapel and Coordinators. From the time I walked into the office, Christina was prepared for my scheduled appointment, willing to answer my questions, and very accommodating. The next day I returned to sign the contract and leave my deposit, and from that point on the communication was great and all of my needs were met up until my wedding day. She went above and beyond and was patient as we dealt with a minor emergency prior to the ceremony. The chapel itself is beautiful, and outshined many of the 5 star big name hotel chapels we had visited.
Next, I met with Patricia with catering. She too was amazing!!! During the six months I was planning the wedding she accommodated every request, and I was allowed to have an amazing traditional reception in Las Vegas. The bar was set up perfectly, the room was beautiful, and the food was better than we expected. We were also allowed to bring in our own DJ, which added another special touch to our day.
While at the Tuscany, I dealt with almost all of the staff, I ate in all three restaurants, and really enjoyed our king suite. I would definitely eat at all of the restaurants again. I was so grateful for the comfort of the suites. It was nice to have a sitting area and a kitchen area. I also am a bit of a clean freak and noticed and was impressed that the room was exceptionally clean. There wasn't any dust on any of the mop boards or moldings, and all of the furniture was well maintained and polished. It made staying in a hotel for that length of time easy. Some of our guests stayed in the 2-bedroom suites, and they were great! One was complete with a balcony, but both were good for entertaining. I had hair and make up set up in one, and had a lunch catered in the other since they were right across the hall. from each other. It was a great setup, and the hair and makeup artists commented it was the best suite they had ever worked in, including all the larger resorts on the strip.
The Front Desk staff was so kind and was nice enough to hand out my welcome bags, and didn't charge me anything. They also paid attention to my list and placed my guests near one another when possible. The bellman all went above and beyond for me that week. They helped me coordinate limos and cars to and from the airport for my guests, not to mention moved all of my reception supplies from room to room for me and back and forth from the reception room. All of the staff that set up the reception room was helpful and popped in a couple times while we were decorating to see if we needed anything.
While there, I also got a massage at the spa. It was easily the best massage I have ever had, and the price was so reasonable (especially for Vegas). I also enjoyed that there is a non smoking bar on the property and the pools are not crazy party scenes, but a nice area to relax and enjoy the sun.
I am sure I am forgetting someone or something, but I was so impressed with my experience at Tuscany. My number one priority was for all of my friends and family to have a good time, and that happened. Many of my guests have expressed to me how happy they were with the property and the staff. Some are even planning to stay there again. Others have expressed a desire to have a family reunion. I don't know when that will be, but I know I will see everyone at the Tuscany again in October!!!!
