This place has some pretty good thai food. I had this bookmarked for a while and I finally got to try it. Just some advice, I got here at 5:25 and there was already a line, they open at 5:30pm. It wasn't bad but it was a Tuesday.. so I can imagine on the weekends it can get crazy. So on to the food..
I started off with what I always start off with at any Thai place..
Tom Yum w/ Shrimp - This is the first thai place that i've been too that asks how spicy you want your Tom Yum.. 1-10 I got a 7 and it was decent, had a nice little kick to it. The soup was super flavorful and probably one of the best Tom Yum soups i've had.
Fried Rice with sour sausage - Bomb.. this had alot of crazy flavors and textures going on. A tad bit sour but not too much, crunchy peanuts, and lots of veggies mixed in made this dish amazing.
Pad See Ew - This dish was nothing special whatsoever. It was lacking in flavor and I would not get this dish again. Very average..
CRISPY DUCK w/ DRUNKEN NOODLES - this is supposed to be their best dish.. well the Crispy Duck is. You can have it different ways, I regret not getting the Crispy Duck in Panang Curry.. right before I walked in some caucasian guy told me that the drunken noodles was the best with crispy duck.. why did I listen to a caucasian guy at a thai restaurant when im asian and i've probably had more thai food then hes had in his entire life? I dont f**king know but I should have got it with panang curry, because I even asked the worker which is better and she told me panang is the most popular version of the crispy duck. So do not make the same mistake as I did and get it with curry!! Drunken noodles = pad see ew noodles!
Anyway this place is a pretty good Thai restaurant and I will be back!
