My family and I visited Uptown Alley for the first time yesterday. We bowled 10 frames, had a bite to eat while we bowled (with my 1.5 year old so it took a little longer) and then walked around to check the place out.
The overall feel of the place is great. There is a restaurant, an arcade, the bowling lanes, VIP bowling lanes and a lounge w/dance floor. I also heard there was a two story laser tag area although we didn't see this.
The bowling was wonderful--almost all the lanes were filled. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, fried mozerella and a beer. The food was delicious! My only complaint was that the waiter told me that for a pint of Fat Tire the cost would be 4.25...when it was actually 5.50. Clearly the waiters need to brush up on the menu/cost of the items they are selling.
When we were ready to go, we walked aroun the establishment to see what all it was about. I was really impressed with the lounge area and all the 'nooks and cranny's you could go to realx, have a bite to eat and a cocktail.
I will give the place another try for sure to see how some of the other areas measure up.
