Best sushi I've had on the west coast. Having lived in Japan for years I mean that. The staff is Japanese and while it's expensive, it's as good as I've had outside of Japan. I'll go back when my bank account allows.
Plus when I went I met Yutaka Sudo, the old coach(?) of the Yomiuri Giants, which is a huge deal in Japan. They're the most famous baseball team in the country. There he was just sitting there, having sushi in some brown adobe complex halfway into the desert.
