  • I finally got to check this place out with my roommate today. He was in the mood for ice cream, and I wanted a coffee. As we walked in, the first thing that caught my eye was their vegan menu. I am not a vegan but I LOVE places with vegan options! All of their unique ice cream flavors look & sound mouth watering. Their flavored lattes sounded so good, it was hard to decide which one I wanted. I decided on a Nutella latte; however, when I ordered it, I was told, "um...I don't know how to make that." I asked the cashier if I could have anything with coffee in it, but she said the people in charge haven't taught her how to do any of the coffee stuff yet. I already felt bad that this poor girl was running the shop alone today with a growing line behind me, but not only is she alone, she's not even fully trained yet! I love her honesty along with the fact that she wasn't letting the stress affect her customer service. This youngster is a great employee! The only thing affecting service is management's lack of training (& possibly staffing levels). I ended up getting a macaron ice cream sandwich with Cookie Monster ice cream in between toasted coconut macarons...DELICIOUS! My roommate ordered a waffle sundae and an ice cream sandwich with red velvet ice cream in between green tea macarons, and he enjoyed those as well. Overall their product is great, but their service can use some help. This is only a temporary rating, because I'm hoping their management improves. I will continue to check in and see if there are improvements (& taste other flavors). Updates will follow accordingly.
