| - I had an appointment at the Arizona Wellness Center for Women. I scheduled the appointment and it took a week for me to get in. I got a confirmation text the day before to show up for the appointment at 10:30 am. I arrived at 10:30 on the dot, at which time I was told my appointment was at 10:00 am, and that I was late. The girl at the front desk said she told me on the phone (which was over a week ago) to show up at 10:00 to fill out the paper work. Needless to say, I forgot about our conversation, figuring the center would send me a reminder of the appointment time, which they did, but it was the WRONG TIME. The day before my appointment, I got a text message "we will see you for your appointment at 10:30. So I arrive at 10:30 prompt, following the text message, and I was told I should have arrived at 10:00 and that I would have to reschedule my appointment. AND I have a medical problem and the soonest I could get in to see the doctor would be in another 10 days. NOT OK. If this place requires the patient to come in a half hour early to fill out paper work, and then sends you a text message to show up at another time, this is confusing for the patient. Not only did I waste my time, gas, and energy, I have a medical problem that is now going unattended. This office seriously needs to address this problem. My guess is I am not the first person who this has happened to.
