  • MGM Grand has a lot to offer in the way of eateries (both casual and sit-down), UFC fights in their renowned arena, David Copperfield's theater, pools and 2 of the hottest clubs on the strip, Wet Republic (dayclub) and Hakkasan (nightclub). They offer self parking as well as valet, and the self parking garage isn't too far of a walk. Employees were friendly and helpful. Many hotels on the strip cover up the scent of cigarette smoke these days, but MGM does not. You can really smell cigarettes permeating everything and it was bothering my allergies. As far as the rooms, they were acceptable while not luxurious. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room in the Grand Tower. The bathroom is on the smaller side with a shower, no bathtub, only one sink and a non-enclosed toilet. They offer wifi which is included in the resort fee, but it was too slow to use with my apps. Overall I just felt that the rooms could use a little upgrade, but they were clean and comfortable.
