| - Firstly, I'd like to say that I've been having my lashes done for two years now. I'm not new to having lash extensions. I had a wonderful lash artist who always made my lashes look beautiful and last for weeks on end. Unfortunately, due to a job change, our hours conflicted and I was no longer able to make appointments. When it was time for me to get my next fill, I booked a mixed fill appointment with Lovely Lashes to give them a try. When I arrived, the lash artist greeted my friendly. She asked me what I was looking for and what I liked. When we got started she explained my retention was poor and my previous lashes were falling off when she brushed them, but she would try her best to get me as full as possible. I wasn't upset because I understood the process. She worked on my eyelashes for about two hours, and when she showed me the results, I'd have to say I was shocked at how bad they looked. The artist could tell I wasn't pleased, and began to explain she had to remove every lash before filling and didn't have enough time to get me completely full for the price I'd paid for. My initial thought was that she should've explained that to me before deciding to remove ever extension I had. I was completely willing to pay for more time because my lashes looked far from what I'd expected. She then stated she could touch up a few specific areas, but she wouldn't be able to work on me any longer because I was her last appointment. She walked me out with lashes I was disappointed in, and I unfortunately paid the 80$ for a fill that looked thinner and shorter than my lashes typically do without extensions. I was disappointed, but decided to give it a few days before calling them back for a touch up. Literally the next day I brushed my lashes for the first time, and about 10 lashes fell out with ease from just one brush (see photo) they were literally falling out as I brushed them, and by the second day of having my lashes, the extensions were COMPLETELY gone. I immediately called my previous lash artist for an emergency appointment, called out of work, and paid 160$ for a full set to correct the horrific job I received before. I haven't needed a full set in YEARS, so $80 for a fill that literally was money down the drain on top of a 160$ full set was a lot of money. I called the shop to ask for a refund and was informed the only thing they could provide for me was a free lash fill from another artist. I explained I had already had my lashes corrected by someone else, and had no desire to come back. The front desk representative informed me her manager would give me a call back, but no one EVER contacted me. I've called 3 times now for an update, only to be told the same thing. Once the manager finally reached out to me, he informed me that the only offer they had was to provide a free service for my lashes to be filled in the shop. He refused to refund my money, and was unsympathetic and rude. Ladies, if you're considering lovely lashes, I'd take your business elsewhere unless you'd like to be ripped off and disappointed. I will certainly never return there for my business, nor will I ever recommend another customer.
